Intro to Organic Gardening Workshop
with Lynzee Bewcyk of Foodscape Gardens

New to gardening? Learn the basics of organic gardening with us! Discover the foundations of soil health and learn about how to use companion planting in your garden. Get some hands-on experience sowing seeds, transplanting and creating your very own garden plan. Join this workshop to cultivate the confidence to nurture your garden dreams.

Lynzee Bewcyk, the founder of Foodscape Gardens, is dedicated to helping people grow their own food using natural and regenerative gardening methods. With extensive experience, she is certified as a Master Gardener and holds a Permaculture Design Certificate. Throughout her career, Lynzee has worked on various farms, as a School Garden Coordinator, and as a Landscaper.

In her work, Lynzee has noticed that many people want to reconnect with the land and grow their own food but often lack the knowledge to get started. She aims to fill this gap by providing simple guidance and support to individuals interested in gardening and growing food. By sharing her knowledge, Lynzee aims to support people to enjoy the health benefits of homegrown food while feeling a deeper connection to the earth.

Unwind in Nature
with Andrea Fox of Elemental Journeys

Drop in and tune in with a guided journey on the "wildside" of Johnstone Park, on the North Shore of Kootenay Lake, just outside Nelson BC.

In typical "Elemental Journeys" style we'll open ourselves to the magic of the forest, with games and invitations to play and contemplate. We'll start off with an opportunity to mingle and share, followed by some movement with Amy Heasman, and a guided visualization by Andrea Fox.

Use this time as an opportunity to unplug and unwind, connecting with yourself and others, as well as the healing power of nature.

**Please take note that there will be a short HIKE component going ~50m downhill/uphill. Please reach out if mobility is an issue**
